Job Description:

At HCA Healthcare, we are looking for a dedicated RN Nurse Manager to lead our Emergency Services in the Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED). This role is pivotal in managing nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of excellence in emergency medical care, maintaining operational efficiency, and upholding our high standards of patient care. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary health care teams to enhance patient outcomes, manage departmental budgets, and develop policies and procedures that comply with the latest health regulations. Manage day-to-day operations of FSED nursing staff. Ensure adherence to health regulations and nursing standards. Develop and implement emergency care policies and protocols. Monitor and optimize budgetary allocations. Conduct continuous quality improvement activities. Provide clinical leadership and mentorship. Facilitate collaboration across healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in emergency response and clinical care Ability to manage budgets and resources Capability to implement and monitor health care policies and procedures Expertise in staff training and development Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
