Our client, a nationwide manufacturer of marine engine parts, has an immediate need for an experienced Welder, to join their winning team in West Palm Beach.Our candidate of choice will be responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques. This role requires proficiency in various welding techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Fabricates and repairs metal either by Tig, Mig or Spot Welding.Under direct supervision ensures that welded material meets blueprint specificationsAssist other departments as necessary. Maintain awareness of and continually practice safe work habits; maintain a safe work environment.KEY REQUIREMENTS:High school or equivalent (Preferred but not required)Prior knowledge or experience is not needed but is a bonus. We are willing to train the right candidate.General skills or knowledge of metal fabrication and welding experience is a plusGood communication skills: Spanish speaker is not mandatory, but it is a plus.Punctual, reliable and conscientious with strong attention to detail and accuracyAble to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.The ability to multitask, prioritize and drive projects is a must.Strong understanding of welding techniques and metal properties.Familiarity with welding safety standards and regulations.Ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively.Knowledgeable at reading and following blueprints is a plus.Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.Works under immediate supervision; primary job functions require exercising independent judgment.Hands-on mechanical skills are a MUST.Please apply today to be one of the first people considered for this position!Elgen Staffing is the fastest growing staffing agency in New Jersey.
